Dictation works fine in the Safari search bar but not for most of my other apps, especially Evernote, Outlook email and Gmail. I've tried turning off dictation on the Keyboard setting and back on again and then turning the iPad off and on again. Am I remembering incorrectly? I thought the dictation used to work with all my apps. (I have the latest update of 12.4.7.

According to Apple, you can use dictation with "many" apps which use the keyboard. Many does not mean all.

If you are not able to use dictation on a 3rd party app, that would be an issue you should address with the developer of that app as they would be required to code the functionality into the app. Apple does not own their app or the code to their app.
