iCloud Album stuck on "Adding"

Hello,

I recently was shared an iCloud album link, but the photos (about 40 total, not many) are stuck "adding" and have been for several days now (almost a week). I have shared albums enabled on my phone yet this album does not seem to be adding to my library. What is the root of this issue, what else should I enable, or why is this occurring? Thank you
