iPhone 11 keyboard issues

Not sure it’s the keyboard but 2 things are happening. 1st is the autocorrect, I can be typing along and a word will be spelled correct and it’ll change it to some random word, I can be 2 or 3 words past it and it’ll happen, what’s up with that? 2nd is I went from an iPhone 8 to an 11 and to this day I can’t get used to the new layout, and an extra punch to the gut they put that stupid strip at the bottom that’s wasted space. Emojis and the mic, is there another keyboard that someone has found that doesn’t upfront tell you that it’s going to take all your data and suck it up into their server and use it. Yeah I get it, it’s not just them but there has to be a happy medium? Maybe?

Which apps seem to be most affected? Are all your apps fully updated in the App Store?

Have you tried restarting the iPhone to see if that helps?

Update apps or use automatic downloads

Restart your iPhone

Are you running the most recent version of iOS on the device?

Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

You can also try toggling Auto-Correction to see if that helps. This can be done in Settings > General > Keyboards > Auto Correction. Resetting Keyboard Dictionary is also an option. This can be done in Settings > General > Reset > Reset keyboard Dictionary.
