Battery Charging Issue

Once the macbook is unplugged and plugged it back after sometimes the battery charging status in the system (Power) tells "NO". SMC reset is the only option I found to solve the issue but I have to do this every time I turned my mac on. Anyone having the same issue

All the instructions / suggestions given there are not for me. I don't have any of those issues plus my mac is still new (not even a year yet). But I recently faced this issue of charging...I did factory reset thinking that it might solve but the issue persists. The battery status on the screen shows that it is charging but the battery drains despite the status being shown. Then I would go in to the System Info and check the charging status on the Power - "Charging" NO Fully Charge NO. This issue is solved only when I do SMC reset. But I have to do the SMC reset every time I turn my mac on to start my work.
