2019 13 inch Macbook Pro Trackpad and keyboard problem

Every time i open the lid and wake my macbook pro from sleep, the trackpad and keyboard is unresponsive for a minute or two but the touch id and touchbar works like normal.. have been having this issue for a long time now. Any help?

Try resetting NVRAM/PRAM http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1379

and

Try resetting the SMC https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201295
