Can anyone at Apple please enlighten me as to why when I stream a song from my Apple Music library on my iPhone it does not count as a song played in the play count or last played columns unless it's on my iMac? This is the most frustrating thing because I utilize Smart Playlists and some are based on play counts/last played.

Thanks for your post! We understand that your play counts are not being updated while streaming from your iPhone. Do you currently have 'Sync Library' enabled? If not, try enabling the setting. Also, is Cellular Data enabled for Music, or are you streaming from Wi-Fi? If not, try enabling Cellular Data for Streaming in the Music Settings.
Turn on Sync Library with Apple Music

Hi, both 'Sync Library' and cellular data for streaming are enabled on my phone and have been enabled. Still don't know why it won't keep play counts.
