Crackling sound - MacBook Air 2020

Randomly I get some crackling sound from my internal speaker and sometime it is also a slow-motion sound along with crackling. Found a fix online which suggests to Quit "coreaudiod" process from Activity Monitor and it worked. But I would like to know the root cause of the problem, why it keeps happening on random basis ? Any lead would be appreciated.

Speakers crackling/buzzing noise on MacBook Pro Hello, I've had my 2021 MacBook Pro for about 9 months now and recently I noticed the right speaker making a buzzing/crackling sound whenever I try to play music/videos. My MacBook's software is up-to-date, Apple Diagnostics does not say anything, and the issue persists even when I change the sampling rate.
