"403 Forbidden" message when trying to access getsupport.apple.com

Every time I try to start a new support request by clicking a link from the Apple website or visiting getsupport.apple.com, I get a 403 Forbidden error message.

I have read answers to similar questions, and these are the things I've already tried:

  • Ensuring the URL has no additional text
  • Made sure device is connected to the internet
  • Made sure my software and OS is up to date
  • Checked date and time
  • Signed out and back in to my Apple ID
  • Checked System Status
  • Cleared cache for "All Time"

Nothing has worked. Any suggestions?

There's been quite a few reports of this occuring lately.

What country are you in? Just checking, as it can occasionally be due to there being no Apple Support presence in your country.

You can also try restarting your router.

Other ways to contact Apple Support:

You can use the Apple Support app if you have an iOS device.

You can also try contacting Apple Support through Twitter or calling them using the number listed for your country: Contact Apple for support and service
