iOS 13.6 overheating and battery drain issues

Last time I used Photo Stream it only lasted 30 days then they disappeared from Mac. Photo stream will be phased out one day.

I would open your own thread or do some research because you have thousands of full size photos on an unstable iphone and maybe no full backup unless you are renting 50GB icloud. Best leave this now as we're off topic.

Mine lasts for more than 3 years cause only those memorable are kept. I am renting 2 TB iCloud storage and the iCloud backup is almost a full backup ig. Ye it’s off topic but thanks for all the sharing:)

Oh do you mean resetting the network settings helps the battery drain problem? Ye I told the genius every time I visited Genius Bar cause each iOS update is notorious for its instability. Ngl I miss iPhone 5 with iOS 6 and iPhone 5s with iOS 7 the most. All the new iPhones are just being pricey but not as perfect as those OG iPhones say iPhone 4s.

Actually the vast majority of people have no issues with each iOS update.

I have had zero issues with my iPhone X, XS or 11 Pro Max, nor have literally millions of others.

That’s very lucky of you. I don’t really know much about those bugs I just learned it from different articles available online. (But I’m ps iOS 11 is a notorious one and that’s why Apple focused on the system performance in iOS 12). I didn’t update my previous iPhone 7 Plus I kept it at iOS 10.3.3 lol tbh I have no problem with my iPhone 11 Pro Max until iOS 13.5.1 bugs and glitches start to happen. All in all iOS ain’t really that bad just I dun feel as nice as those times when iPhone 5 and iPhone 5s were introduced.

I really don't understand that company such as Apple with many engineers and a lot of money can't make a nice and smooth iOS

Apple makes its own hardware and software but still, iOS is bad (write ”suck”)

If iOS14 don't make a better battery and no heating - bye-bye Apple and never back

I have an iPhone 7 Plus. Since my update to 13.5.1 My phone started unusual overheat even on simple usage. Besides, I lost the click on home bottom and the vibrator as a result. I had to put it on the fridge for few minutes to restore it to normal. I also experienced several restarts for no reason but that happens occasionally.

Is there a way to downgrade to iOS 12?

I think Apple once did it in iOS 6, 7 and 9. After that they’re all trash especially the notorious iOS 11. (iOS 12 ain’t too bad I’d say when compared with iOS 13.6). Let’s see how will iOS 14 go!

Yes thank you, all workarounds and fixes are welcome because there will be many causes that may need to try several workarounds . I hope someone comes back to you with a result. I can't test it because I don't have the problem but hopefully someone will.

I am having IPhone x for past one year, My device is perfect upto IOS 13.5 when i updated to IOS 13.6.1 my device is getting slow and battery drains quickly what should i do for this issue, my battery health also in peek performance !

You explain to me why an update of an iOS would require me to get my device repaired. Why should I have to dole out $100 or more to fix a battery drain issue that is the result of a forced update? Yeah apple said “get it repaired”. A soap dish can say that. This unit is a year and some odd months old, was working perfectly prior and now, immediately after updating iOS, is unusable without being plugged in. Maybe you’re ok with the apple company line, but I’m not. Enjoy.

"Stop writing" - He has nothing interesting to say. Coming back to the problem, it's just a joke that no one can help. It does not matter if I use the phone in normal mode or in battery saving mode - it still drops 1% after 3 minutes of use ..... . And the authorized service says everything is fine.
