I have an iPhone SE 2nd gen and I’ve been experiencing surprisingly hot temperatures and performance issues. I tested it in Geekbench a few days ago and got a CPU score of 1321 and today I got 789. I don’t know if this is because of the later iOS builds . However when using 13.5.1 I got great performance. And long battery life.
Could this be just my iPhone or are others experiencing this as well?

This started out as a promising Q&A on the battery drain issues with 13.6, but the conversion took a turn and the issue was never addressed.
I downloaded 13.6 Thursday and since then my phone runs hot and my battery life is terrible. Anyone else having issues?

so 1% in 3 minutes of screen time is 100% in 5 hours of screen time.
5 solid hours sounds about normal. They are probably right.
Turn your brightness down you might get more.
I have the same issue with my iPhone 11. Battery drain and phone is running hot.
I regret buying this phone. Overheating and battery drain issues. Never had a problem with any other iPhone model phone until now. Not happy!
Get your phone looked at.

If it is still nothing change, I properly wait for later sub versions to avoid any other issues...
OK, I'll post it tomorrow when the battery runs out a little. It has not changed that 1% battery is still consumed after 3 minutes of use
The battery is horrible
I tried all tips before (ios13.6); restart the network, restart locations, Icloud turn contacts and calendar off but - battery still going down very rapidly
Updated to iOS 14. Losing 10% battery every 4 minutes. No help. Apple has forced me to replace the battery and there’s no guarantee that a new battery will do anything.

I don't understand Apple - they have 8 beta version of iOS14 and still, we have a bad product at the final version.
When I write this text my battery drain for 1%👎
