Finally decided to update to 10.5 and I've run into a problem. Every time I open Logic it gets stuck on "Updating information about Audio Unit plugins" until I'm forced to force quit. I've tried holding down control while it boots up to disable core audio (someone suggested this on another forum), but when I get to Preferences to turn it back on, it freezes again. Hope someone can help.
Similar here. Removing some older plugins solved the problem. i was able to reload most of them and it passed in plugin manager. When you force quit, does a window regarding plugin authorization appear underneath the logic startup window? the removed plugins were fro 2009 and 2010.
