New iPhone won’t update

I just purchased an iPhone and were manually setting it up. I tried to do the “Transfer from another phone” method and it was going smoothly till I had to update the new phone. I waited for it to install, it did, the i clicked “install now” and it’s still blue and there’s a loading symbol next to it. Any suggestions on how to start over in new setup or anything?

Can’t install update on brand new iphone I just bought a brand new iPhone 12 and ive been trying to transfer everything from my iPhone 7 Plus to the new one, except my iPhone 12 wont download and install an update and it won’t let me set up the phone without updating it. I’ve tried restarting the phone and even wiping it and trying again altogether but it still gets stuck on the ‘preparing update’ page and I can’t figure out why and how to fix it. Any suggestions would be great.

New Iphone stuck at install Now during update! Got a new iPhone13 from work and I'm trying to setup and transfer data from old phone (XR). Everything went smoothly until it said update required. Look at the screen, the version number is cut off!! Pathetic for a premium product! And it took more than 30mins to download and now has been stuck at install now for 2hrs! Looks like I have no option but to start over. Any other suggestions? And no it's not internet connection, mine is pretty fast!

New iPhone failed to install update I have a question if you guys don’t mind I bought a new iphone and wanted to transfer data from my old one to the new iPhone but it required an update. When it finished downloading it was stuck on “install now” for about an hour So I pressed the power button and chose the option “start over” and it erased everything as you know. My question is..was what i did wrong and gonna effect the phone in long term?since it was trying to install update but to no avail it was stuck on loading trying to install it

Force restart the iPhone as follows:

Press and quickly release the volume up button
Press and quickly release the volume down button
Press and hold the power button until the Apple logo appears
