Theme music on macbook air
Why can’t I choose a theme that adds music to my Imovie on Macbook Air. It automatically adds the theme background music to my Imovie on my Iphone 11 however I can’t seem to use this feature on my Macbook Air

The music theme feature is not available on iMovie for Mac.
Click on Sound Effects in the sidebar and scroll to the bottom, and ypu will find some of the theme songs.
Another way is to put the theme music that you want into an iPhone iMovie project and then use AirDrop to export it to your Mac as an iMovie for Mac project. Then add your video clips.

Thank you for your reply, I didn’t find any theme songs when I scrolled down on side effects, but your suggestion works. Still, I think it’s better if this feature is also available in Macbook because it’s it harder without it and the alternate steps isn’t preferable.
Yes, it would be nice if the Theme Music feature were included in iMovie for Mac.
The songs to which I was referring in the sound effects pane are these:

sound effects I mean, no side effects, it’s a typo error pardon me
Oh! I see! They have it there, only it was under sound effects, I didn’t bother to scroll down that far so I missed it. Thank you so much! You solved my problem!
You are very welcome. :)
