Any ideas how to access my Sony DCR-TRV19 mini-DV camcorder

Sony discontinued the play software and iMovie does not work (with mini-USB to USB A). Running Catalina v10.15.5 on MacBook Pro Retina 13in late 2013 2.4ghz dual core i5

IMovie not installed as part of MacOS upgrade Hi, I have just upgraded my wife's veteran MBA which was running under 10.13 (High Sierra) to 10.15 (Catalina). All seemed to perform OK but then I noticed the total absence of iMovie. The original iMovie app will not work under Catalina as it was not 64bit. I downloaded a fresh Catalina and installed it to no avail... still no iMovie. There may well be other "bits" missing but I've not checked as yet. Can anyone please shed some light on this oddity and maybe advise how I can iMovie in there again? Very many thanks TT

camcorder compatible with os Since upgrading to OS14 on my MacBook pro 13" neither of my Sony camcorders are recognized when connected via USB. I hVE Sony HDR-HC3 and a Sony XR200. Any solution for this?

DVD Player missing in Catalina I hadn't used my DVD Player Burner In my MacBook Pro 13" Mid 2012 Running macOS Catalina V. 10.15.7 In many months I hadn't used it since Maverick I assume, well the need arose fot it. But I Notice No Player .app it's like it vanished. Well I thought this probly is a simple glitch fix. Also I am not a what you would call an inexperienced user. I am a dedicated Mac user, Compared to what I learned on back 1995 with my blazing Pentium 75 with a 10gb HDD 256kb of Ram, combined with the massive bandwidth of 56kb dialup modem. Ok I looked around and found the DVD Player 4.6 , Says can't install incompatible. well I made sure everything was updated, abd eventually walked back to the Lower Version If anyone has been down this road, and could advise me I would be Greatful

You will need 2 cables in all . You will NOT need the third cable/adaptor as you will not require the Thunderbolt 2 to Thunderbolt 3 cable/adaptor as you do not have USB-c ports on your Mac.
