I want to remove some photos off my phone but don’t want to lose them in my computer, so if I delete the photos from my phone will they erase from my Mac?

Combining photo libraries I have a 40k Icloud photo library which I am currently restoring to my new M2 macbook air. I also have 30k photos stored on the internal HD of my iphone14 including 00's of photos taken on my new phone which are not in the macbook library. What is the best way of combining both libaries without duplicates?
