Use 2019 iMac as secondary monitor

Hello,

I recently bought 2019 iMac 4k Retina and not sure how to use it as a secondary monitor with 2019 Macbook pro. Both are having USB-C ports. Please let me know if i need to buy any adopters.

A 2019 iMac does not support Target Display Mode.

Only 2009/2010 27” and 2011 thru 2014 iMacs supported TDM.
