Space on mac

I need to make space on my macbook but I cant continue deleting documents since I need them. Any suggestions? Do i have to buy more icloud space?

Free up space How do I free up space on my MacBook Air for Big Sur? It requires a lot of space. I have a 128Gb storage MacBook Air. There is 31.76Gb in other, what is this? There is 29.33Gb in documents, but there are no documents there, they are all on iCloud and all are very very minimal size. I have no music, films or large applications. Get external HDD/SSD and save files on it could help your question.
