iphone xs water resistance warranty
My daughter's iPhone XS got dropped in a hot tub for a few minutes and won't turn on. Shouldn't it still work if it was less than 30 minutes and 2 meters? Any warranty available?

Not necessarily. Water resistance is never a guarantee against water damage from any exposure to water. All it means is the device has a better chance of surviving water exposure than a non-water resistant device would.
No smart phone company‘s warranty covers water damage on their IP67 or IP68 rated devices, because water resistance is not absolutely assured protection against water damage.
