Mail program has been acting weird in several ways lately on iMac running macOS Catalina 10.15.5. Emails are blank, just showing the header and no content, sometimes even blacking out while I am reading them. Mail program is freezing up when I try to forward or reply or even print. Not having the problem on iPad or iPhone, increasingly I have to go to other devices to check my mail! Seems to work okay for a short time after I restart or force quit. Not good!

Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at startup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode?
Safe mode attempts to repair Disks & clears lots of caches & loads safe Drivers, & prevents loading of 3rd party extensions, so if Safe Mode works try again in regular boot.

Workable but harder for me to work with...the Note tool on the bottom of this editor's toolbar, as shown in the image, to copy and paste the output from EtreCheck. In a Reply before you click post, look for this to add longer texts...
Thanks for your suggestion, it has improved for now. There are other issues, like VERY slow start up for apps like AppleTV, News, Podcasts, and Microsoft Word and Excel. Overall performance of my iMac is disappointing since upgrading to Mojave OS. Yes, its been to the shop to address these issues.
Doesn't really show the problem as I\d hoped, you are very short of RAM which really slows things down when it starts paging out to Disk.
I fear it may be a hardware problem, can you afford an external SSD or Drive?
I've had the same problem for a few months. I've booted in safe mode, reset smc and pram. It happens at the end of a day for me. Rebooting solves the problem every time. There is nothing unique about the emails that are blank. Since all the solutions require rebooting, there's no saying if they do anything or not.
It is annoying and seems to happen at the worst time.
