Do changes to a multicam clip change that clip in a timeline?

I am editing a simple 2 camera multicam projecct. AFter creating the multicam clip and editing it on a project timeline I realized that the audio on one cmera was way too loud, while the audio on the othre camera was too low. I went back to the multicam clip and made the changes, but they didn't effect the project timeline as I thought they would. Is there a way to apply the changes to that project timeline, or for me to apply thee camera cut decisions to a new instance of the multicam clip in a new project timeline?
