Hello 1dbrown,

We understand you're being prompted to enter in your password for your Yahoo account and would like to know how to make it stop. We'd like to help you out with this.

First go to got to the Yahoo website and see if you're able to successfully log into your email account there. It's possible the password may be incorrect, needs to be updated, or you need an app-specific password due to security settings for your Yahoo account. Once you've verified you can log in successfully and you have the correct password, try entering it on your iPhone when prompted.

If you're using the Yahoo Mail app, make sure it is updated. Also, make sure your iPhone is updated as well: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. If you continue to get the same prompts, try removing your account and readding it. If you're using the Mail app, you can remove your account by tapping on Delete Account after selecting your account in Settings > Passwords & Accounts. Here are steps to add it back: Add an email account to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

Take care.
