Failing To Download The Security Update 2020-004 10.14.6

The course of action may be to use Disk Utility to repair the system drive.

You may simply try and use Safe mode on startup; then restart, and that could help.

Mine was no problem; in mid-2012 MacBook/Pro9.2 13-inch 2.5GHz w/ 16GB RAM + 240GB

Blade SSD ~ able to get & install same update, easily; with AirPort Express II... in Little time.

Could it be network issue, or corrupt files; or untimely hungry gremlins, run amok?!😳

Could try the old mechanic's trick: A piece of black tape on dash

board, to cover the "red warning light" so the driver can't see it?!

Probably not a practical idea; bad humor aside. I'd covered 'idiot

lights' before, nothing toxic happened. Maybe Mr Macintosh has

some ideas that would work for Mac issue; no tape though..?🤔😊

There is a problem with that last update, I would just not install it.

The disadvantage of this "update" is, that you can not block the upgrade notice anymore.

Yes, but with the last update in these Terminal commands do not all they are programmed to do. I have tested all already for months.
