Serial number in airpods

the serial number on my charging case says its has still apple coverage remaining which led me to believe they are real, however on the phone setting (my device) it is showing a different serial number.

Is this normal. ?

Airpods pro serial number different Hi community, recently I bought an airpods pro. When its connected to my iphone, the serial number shown on the phone is different from the serial number on my airpods’s casing. And the serial number shown on the phone is not found on apple warranty search. Please help. Thanks
