Is there a free download software I can use with my Dazzle DVD Recorder

I have the Dazzle DVD Recorder to convert my VHS Tapes to my computer for editing. I got it back in the early to mid 2000’s for my Windows XP. I now have an Apple Mac. Is there a free download program I can install on my Mac so I can use my Dazzle equipment to import my VHS Tapes, or will the VHS Tapes automatically load onto my Mac without the need of the program? Really don’t want to have to buy new equipment for just a few VHS Tapes.

Why don't you install Windows on your iMac utilizing Apple's Boot Camp then you could use your Dazzle on the same computer.

Dazzle is Windows only software.

You would need a replacement capture device such as: Elgato

Thanks Gary, I'll check it out. I was hoping I could use my Dazzle equipment and maybe get a free software online. I'll check this Elgato out. If too expensive, I'll break out my old Windows XP and use my Dazzle. Only have 6 VHS Tapes to convert and put on DVD. Thanks.

I had Windows on my Mac when I first got it, but I had to split the hard drive between the 2 sides. Didn't like it. My Dazzle was made for XP or Vista, so it wouldn't work on Windows 10. I'll see what Best Buy has today. Thanks again for your help.
