I have been working with Zoom, but have not been able to resolve this issue. When I have Zoom and my external Logitech webcam open with my MacBook Pro (13" 2020) 10.15.6 version (Catalina); it freezes Zoom and I lose Internet connection.
I am looking for any help here.

Either the C922 is incompatible with the Zoom software, and/or you need the current version of Zoom from their website. The C922 does not require the installation of any driver software, and should be just plug-n-play. You have checked that the camera is recognizable and working via Photo Booth, correct?
In addition to the OP, there was yet another post yesterday where a C922 was not working with Zoom on 10.15.6. My advice was to check with Zoom, either by a listing of their supported cameras, or contacting them about actual C922 support in the Zoom application. They may not support this camera yet, and it is known that the older Logitech C920 does work with current Zoom software.
Once upon a time, BestBuy had the C920 for $49.95. Maybe your obtaining a C920 is a less headache approach to solving the problem with the C922 and Zoom.
I just tested it with Photo booth. No problems. Did a short recording. I do have the most current version of Zoom.
It is a plug-n-play. No software required for the C922. I have had more than one Logitech camera, but never with a MAC.
I have the older C920, which works with all older versions of OS X and macOS including Catalina 10.15.6. I purposely do not use Zoom though. 🤨 Like the C920, the C922 should also work with FaceTime.
Unfortunately, I have to use it for work. C922 works with all other applications. No problems. I have a colleague who has the C920 but she has Mojave. No Zoom issues.

I just purchased a C922, too, and it's also crashing in Zoom. Seems to be working in Facetime and other apps, but I haven't tested it that much.
Hi all, is there any known software that will allow Logitech webcam C920 to be controlled to zoom in and out on a Mac OS? There is for a PC.
C920 isn't working either.
Logitech only provides software control to zoom the C920 on Windoze, not Mac.
I don't have the link but I do recall someone else in the support communities mentioning that they did have a C920 working with Zoom.
