Bluetooth mic for recording a video

Hi, I have an iPhone 11 and I want to use my Bluetooth headset to record my voice while making a video - but the video app (camera) only uses the phone's built-in mic, no way to choose the headset.

BUT, in the phone's Voice Memo app, if I have my Bluetooth headset connected to the phone, the app will record over that microphone perfectly, like from 15 feet away. I'd like to do that with video, but have found no way to do so. Weird, and thank you.

iPad microphone options I am looking for a microphone solution for streaming on an iPad. I am looking to stream live sporting events and be able to have the iPad on a tripod close to the event recording the audio and video of the event, while I am further away as to not disturb the event, with a wireless mic adding commentary. My question is can you keep the internal microphone active while using an external microphone and record both, or would I need a system for 2 external microphones to get both sets of audio, and if so, what microphone setup would you recommend? Use headset microphone on iPad Pro camera Hi! I am trying to record a video through my iPads camera app, but I would like to use my beats as the microphone. How do I do this? When my beats are paired they become the microphone for all my other apps except the camera app. Nothing I’ve tried has resolved the issue, restarting, connecting and disconnecting the beats, forgetting and repairing the beats, and closing out all my apps.
