i cannot restore backup of my phone from laptop, after 3 hours of process the message appears that phone cannot be restored due to error

I have changed my phone from Iphone X to Iphone Pro, both with 256 GB storage. The last backup to may laptop was made on 16 July 2020. I have tried to restore backup from my laptop to my iphone pro twice but after 2-3 hours of process the message appear that 'backup cannot be restored due to some error'. Your assistance is required please.
