AirPods 2 - problems with microphone(s)

I have problems with microphone(s) on my AirPods 2 (bought in June 2019). The sound was/is muffled. I cleaned them upon that advice (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vrPzsP2gl4M) - dry version, of course. It was ok for one day now is again muffled. I tried also all the steps about connect/disconnect/ForgetThisDevice ... but no success :-(

Any ideas?

Try preforming a reset by first closing the lid with the airpods inside.

Then, press and hold the back button for ~15 sec.

- If you have a wireless charging case (status light on the front) wait until that turns white.

Next, after pressing and holding the back button, open your airpods' case lid. the indicator light should be white now. Bring your device near the airpods and re-pair them

- If on iOS, you should get a popup window to pair
- if on mac, open system preferences > click bluetooth > find your airpods from the list > click to pair

Thanks for your reply.

I took the photo of my AirPods microphones. Do you think that the Patafix actually closed all the wholes so that the sound doesn't come through?
