Printing pdf files without Adobe subscription.

Every time I attempt to print pdf files from my MacBook Air, macOS Catalina 10.15.5, Adobe prompts me to purchase a subscription. I have to transfer files to an old PC in order to print which is not convenient. Is there a work around?

If you already have Adobe Acrobat Reader DC on your system, just update it.

If you don't have it, go to https://get.adobe.com/reader. It's free to download and install. You don't have to purchase a subscription

You could also try to open your pdf file with Preview (already on your Mac) and print
