Print Shop for Mac compatibility with MacOS Catalina
I use Print Shop for Mac 2.0.11 on a daily basis and have many projects I reuse regularly. If I update to MacOS Catalina, will this version of Print Shop still work?

FYI, if you live in the U.S. and visit the MacKiev website you will read that it is not available for sale in North America for legal reasons. The update is supposedly being offered only to existing owners but as you say it’s very iffy in actually getting it. Broderbund sells a Windows port that is a seeming pile of monkey poo. I know, because I fell for it.
Print Shop for Mac v2 is a 32-bit application. It will not run on Catalina. Catalina requires applications to be 64-bit apps.
MacKiev announced an updated Print Shop v4 with 64-bit compatibility late last year but many users have found it difficult to impossible to either buy the new version or obtain the upgrade. I myself have been waiting since last November to receive the update, it still hasn't happened.
Actually, it is available in the USA but only if you have an education volume license account with Mackiev. The Broderbund "Print Shop" is a completely different product, and it's awful.
Well, we’re all talking about individual purchases so... school districts can buy it but people can’t.

Then you are fixed in place forever. You will never be able to buy a new Mac or run newer software. If your current Mac breaks and cannot be repaired you are out of luck unless you can find a used, functioning model of your current vintage. Good luck.
There has been a recent upgrade released for Print Shop. It is compatible with Catalina and newer macOS.
