I got earlier today an pop up alert while using Safari that my phone got a virus and that I had to download a specific application to protect my phone or I will lose everything. Unfortunately forgot to do a print screen.
How could I check if this is true?

The app was Everclean.
I couldn’t find it in the App Store, so it must have required side loading using an enterprise profile.
Was that from the app store or a web site?
I downloaded it but didn’t use it and could feel as soon as it started downloading that this must be a spam and deleted it as soon as download was completed.
