2017 MacBook Pro camera is not working properly

I have a 2017 MacBook Pro and my camera is not working properly. The green light flashes when I open FaceTime or PhotoBooth but the screen black. I have tried mostly everything(running diagnostics, sudo killall VADAssistant, and all the resets. I also have the Catalina update as well) I have tried calling apple support multiple times and sit on hold for too long before I hangup. Any suggestions?
