I uninstalled all iCloud software from my PC and then reinstalled it and it works now. Guess I got lucky. There seem to be a lot of folks who have problems with iCloud/Outlook working together.

It looks like you're experiencing some issues with iCloud for Windows. We did some research and found an article that appears to help with what you're seeing. Please have a look: Setup cannot continue because Outlook isn’t configured to have a default profile
