Airpods pro 2D27 issue

It wasn't ever like this I think but, when the new firmware update came out for the Airpods Pro I suddenly felt that the bass in off mode was gone. Like in noise cancellation and transparency it's there and bumping but the moment I switch it to Off like there's no bass I don't know if this is just for my Airpods Pro or if this is a common error. Other than that nothing is wrong with the new firmware update, Noise cancellation is pretty good. Any advice? Thank you.
