IPhone Painfully Slow on Home Wifi

For some reason since I got new internet when I moved recently, my iPhone WiFi is PAINFULLY slow, while none of the other devices in the home have this problem - other phones, iPad, laptops, Sonos etc.

I have an iPhone 11 Pro

Spectrum internet

Hitron modem model E31N2V1 (provided by Spectrum)

Google Nest router model H2D

I’m sitting at my dining table now working on my iPad and am getting 256 mbps on it according to the app Speedtest. On my phone, I’m getting 4.36 mbps (which is actually better than the 1.2 mbps I was getting an few minutes ago). Same situation in my bedroom, kitchen, etc - modem and router are in guest room.

I’ve tried “forget this device” and re-adding it, but that didn’t help. I know there are a MILLION different scenarios that could be causing this, but are there any obvious ones I should try?

Thank you!

iPhone 11 Pro, 13

Hello JPH,

Slow Wi-Fi speeds can really get in the way of using your iPhone, so we want to help.

Please make sure you are running iOS 13.6, and have restarted your iPhone. If so, you will want to power cycle your modem, and router.

If the issue persists, disable Bluetooth, via Settings > Bluetooth and test.

Disable LTE in Settings > Cellular, and test.

You may also want to look over some causes of interference: Resolve Wi-Fi and Bluetooth issues caused by wireless interference

We hope these steps help. Have a great day.
