I tried to download Outlook on my MacBook but following text pops up:
"We could not complete your purchase.
(null) can’t be installed on “Macintosh HD” because macOS version 10.13 or later is required."
What does it mean and what is the solution to it?

To find out if it's system wide or user specific, try this...
Open System Preferences>Users & Groups, unlock the lock, click on the little plus icon, make a new admin account, log out & into the new account.

Unfortunately, I can not do that either. I have to use Appstore to be able to download but I get the same pop up.

Unfortunately not yet because my MacBook just broke down.
it works but my screen is black and I’m trying to open the back so I can unplug the hardware and battery but I can’t get the screws off.
