This is how I got this problem fixed.

1) Uninstall all the zoom apps for all users.

2) In the System Preferences, go Users and Groups, and create new login account.

3) Login as the one you just created.

4) Download the latest version of zoom.

5) When you install, chose "Only for this user" (wording might not be exactly the same)

6) Open Zoom

7) Logoff from the temporary user, logon as your original user and open zoom.

8) Try to see if you can use zoom.

9) Delete the temporary user as necessary.

Hope this will work.

UPDATE of this moment.

Zoom responded to my Report.

They removed the Flag from my account.

Error 1132, disappeared. The app works correctly.

Confirmed. When your account is reported, so is your computer.

Here is the Email I received from ZOOM:

Hi Leandro,

First and foremost, I would like to offer my sincere apologies for the late response and understand the frustration. Please know that we, here at Zoom, take these types of situations very seriously.

Upon further investigating this issue, it appears your account was suspended based on a report filed for the meeting you hosted on December 10th. In this report, you listed yourself as the offender and action was taken based on these details.

Moving forward, I've gone ahead and removed the restriction. You should now be able to login and use the account as intended. However, please be advised that continued misuse of the report feature or form may lead to Zoom taking action against your account, as it is a violation of our Terms of Service and Community Standards.

Best regards,

No resolution, but I will share everything that I’ve done so far, so you don’t repeat anything that I have tried and waste you’re time:

  1. Uninstalled Zoom, Emptied Trash, Restarted Mac, then Reinstalled Zoom
  2. Uninstalled Zoom, deleted ZoomChat.plist files from the Preferences folder in Library, Emptied Trash, Restarted Mac, Reinstalled Zoom.
  3. Uninstalled Zoom, Turned Off Firewall, Emptied Trash, Restarted Mac, Reinstalled Zoom.
  4. Uninstalled Zoom, Added a VPN, Emptied Trash, Restarted Mac, Reinstalled Zoom
  5. Uninstalled Zoom, Emptied Trash, Shut Down Mac, Reset NVRAM, Reinstalled Zoom.
  6. Uninstalled Zoom, Emptied Trash, Shut Down Mac, Reset SMC, Reinstalled Zoom
  7. Uninstalled Zoom, Emptied Trash, Created A New Login User (Both an Admin and Standard User with and without setting up an iCloud), Reinstalled Zoom
  8. Uninstalled Zoom, Emptied Trash, Separated my important files and put them on a usb drive, Erased Mac and reinstalled the Yosemite MacOS (the MacOS that was originally installed on my MacBook), Skipped Setting Up an iCloud, Reinstalled Zoom (Please Note: I tried doing it once more using an iCloud and same result)
  9. Uninstalled Zoom, Emptied Trash, Updated Software to Catalina, Skipped Setting Up iCloud, Reinstalled Zoom.
  10. I have also tried a wide range of variations of the aforementioned steps as well. I could safely say that I have installed and reinstalled Zoom over 50+ times in the past two months.

(I have a Script file that I used for the previous version of Zoom to bypass the 1132 Error Code, but unfortunately since the latest update to version 5.20, I am unable to use that Script file to access a meeting through the app. If anyone knows anything about Script or coding, and would like to examine the Zoom Override 1132 Error Code Script file to see if it could be modified to work for the most recent Zoom update, I am more than happy to share it with you! Just as long as you promise to share with me the modified version if you are successful.)

Yeah same here, so I had my law school, whose using their services for classes this Fall, reach out to support and still no luck. That is why I’m so adamant about finding a resolution. My entire law school curriculum is being utilized through Zoom’s Infrastructure, and I have got to do whatever I can to be able to bypass this 1132 Error Code by any means necessary.
