ipad mini 5 bent

You have no way to prove the bend wasn't caused by you or someone else or it happened somehow by accident.

Bends in iPad chassis/back housings do not magically happen by itself.

Especially on a such a small aluminum housing/chassis that is for an iPad Mini!

That iPad Mini got bent somehow that you cannot prove!

Since you didn't purchase extended, two-year AppleCare+, at either the time of purchase or within 60-days of purchase, either live with the bend, pay the out-of-warranty costs for another replacement iPad or purchase another brand new iPad.

OR

Purchase a new tablet from another competitor, if you are not happy with the outcome with your damaged iPad!

It is what it is. These are your choices!

The standard free, one-year, limited, AppleCare warranty does NOT support any iPad damage caused by the user.

For that type of warranty coverage, you needed to purchase Apple's extended AppleCare+ warranty plan.

One more choice to try.

Try contacting/reaching out to Apple Product support and services about this issue.

If need be, you can have your iPad issues escalated all the way up the chain to Apple engineering level customer phone support.

Even if no acceptable resolution, Apple, AT LEAST, logs all support calls and issues.

Same problem

here iPad mini 5 bent and screen lifting on 1 corner

02 want £270.74 to repair

this is a 6 month old iPad not misused at all and always had mini iPads before and not had anything like this

am currently disputing this as we speak 😡

iPads do not get bent all by themselves.

Something happened to that iPad at some point to get q bend and the laminated screen lifting up.

I have the same problem my ipad mini bent by it self and still under warranty and the apple support were very mean and didn’t even want to give an exception,and want either to buy a new one or to pay for exchange which more expensive than to buy a new one. It was a pad experience with apple.

You are giving the same answer we can’t prove that it’s not our mistake even apple can’t prove that we are a bad users so we are stuck in the middle,but after more than 7 years of being an apple consumer they can be kind gentle and generous and make an exception and change our ipad mini 5 and say thank you for being an apple user.

Are you not bored of repeating yourself cos I’ll say this once I’ve not done anything I’ve had all mini iPads and never has this happen!! Just done a bit of research myself very common fault I hear!!!

If you did not purchase extended AppleCare+ for that iPad, you face an uphill battle.

Seems like a common fault does it ?
