Any recommended Metal-GPU that perfectly work on my Mac Pro 3,1 (2008) ?

Mac Pro 3,1 Gtx 760 I have a Mac Pro 3,1 (early 2008) and the graphics card (8800 gt) stopped working and I’ve been looking for a new one. I found a Gtx 760 on Amazon and I was wondering if this would work natively with El Capitan (OS X 10.11). Many thanks!

GTX 680 is popular for Mac Pros.

Sure, it has support for Metal apps, so give it a shot!

It’s a newer GeForce too.

Honestly, this card looks used, look at the outside and all... And part of the card is all faded..
