My 2013 Macbook Air will not update to Catalina

I have had multiple attempts trying to update my Macbook air to Catalina. I meet all the requirements but each time I try to download I get an installation error. Any idea what I can do?

MacBook Air 13″, OS X 10.10

Do you have at least 20GB - 30GB of free space? You will need that get the macOS Catalina installation completed.
