Macbook Pro 13" 2020 and Final Cut Pro X / PROBLEMS and SOLUTIONS - Question

Back in May 2020, numerous Macbook Pro users have purchased the new 16 or 32gb ram 13' 2020 Macbook Pro models to edit with Final Cut Pro X. Unfortunately, every user i've spoken with and others who've posted complaints on social media have specifically said that editing with Final Cut Pro X is a no go. System freezes, crashes, beach balls... It's been a nightmare. They've all said to STAY AWAY from using the 13" 2020 Macbook Pro if you intend to edit with Final Cut Pro X.

It's now August 2020 and I am now hearing that these issues have been fixed from a recent Apple Catalina update. Can anyone confirm this? Is it now safe to purchase the new 13" Macbook Pro 2020 and use Final Cut Pro X without issue? (I'm not going to wait for the new ARM Macbook Pros)
