I recently got a new MacBook Air, and I'm having trouble uploading photos and documents to browsers and apps. When I try, I get a message that reads "The open file operation failed. The open file operation failed to connect to the open and save panel service." Any suggestions?

Thanks for the response and clarifying the issue. If you haven't already, try adding another user, then test to see if the issue is persisting in that user.

Hi, I have the exact same issue here. Creating another user solved the issue, but I still can't share the files from my former user account. Which is a big issue, since... all my files are on this account.

I’m not having a problem loading things to my MacBook. I’m having problems when I try and upload things from my MacBook to the internet, Microsoft Office, or Spotify. For example, I tried to upload an image into Google Slides and I got the error message. The same thing happens if I try and attach a PDF to an email.
