MacBook Pro Touch ID and password

When I set up my MacBook yesterday it had me set up Touch ID but not a password. Now on my iPhone it wants my MacBook password for our iCloud to work but I don’t have a password. When I go to set up one it only wants me to change password and it asks for the old password which I don’t have🙄. How do I fix this?? HELP!

Forgotten password Hey, I have a problem. Today I bought my first MacBook air 2020. I created an Apple ID and created an email from apple and turned off my laptop. An hour later, I turned on my MacBook again and wrote me the message "Enabling Touch ID requires your password before I log in. The problem is, I have no idea the password for Touch ID. I completely forgot that password. I know my password for my Apple ID, but it requires a password to enable Touch ID. Can you help me how to reset the password or how to create a new one if I can't log in to my mac? (I don't have any Apple devices anymore, just a Mac.)

I cannot remember my Apple ID password On this machine with Touch ID it doesn't matter but on my other machines it does. When I try to create a new password, I am first asked for my current one which I've forgotten. The trouble is that if a password is memorable it is "weak". I created a new password yesterday but it doesn't work today or I've misremembered it.

This procedure lets you change the password without knowing the old password. Change or reset the password of a macOS user account - Apple Support.
