this photo is not editable

how do i delete a photo from my iphone x that says it is not editable. the photo is in my photos tab and not the albums tab...

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. We see that you are trying to remove a photo from your iPhone but it can not be edited.


This is happening because the photo was synced to the phone from a computer at some point in time. In order to remove it from your iPhone you will have to deselect the photo or photos that you want to remove via the computer and sync it again.
