Location sharing

Family with iPhone XS sends current location and I accept it on my iPhone 11. However when I request location through messages, it says location not available. Previously locations coming through were way off and not accurate. Only recently problem started.

iOS devices might use Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to determine your location. GPS and cellular location are available on iPhone and iPad (Wi-Fi + Cellular) models.

Share your location

Open the Find My app and select the People tab.
Select Share My Location or Start Sharing Location.
Enter the name or phone number of the person you want to share your location with.
Select Send.
Choose to share your location for One Hour, Until End of Day, or Share Indefinitely.
Select OK.
