ICloud and photos.

I recently cracked my iPhone screen to the point it wasn’t useable. I switched my SIM card to my old iPhone to use in the meantime. For whatever reason though the photos on my iCloud from my cracked phone were somehow put on the old phone, and deleted all the photos that were Stored on my old phone. I have no clue what happened to the. And they were very important! I have no backups.

iPhone 7, iOS 13

I believe this is because iCloud photos is more of a syncing service.. not really a backup service. So you should have turned off iCloud photos on your old phone before deleting the photos. If iCloud Photos is on and you delete them, you are deleting them from everywhere.

Try going to iCloud.com and signing in.. tap Photos and see if they are in the recently deleted area. If they are, should be able to recover them.

Also look in the Recently deleted Album in the Photos app on your phone (or both phones)

If all the recently deleted stuff is empty, then I'm afraid you're probably hosed. Hopefully you find them though
