Question:
Mac won't start. Hangs on black screen with apple logo. Can power off and open from bootcamp to windows. Can't open mac in safe mode - if I start with shift key it opens in windows, if I start with alt key back to the same hanging problem.

MFTs are used on Windows for NTFS. Does Internet Recovery (Command+Opt+R at boot) work?
just did a PRAM reset and seems to have worked!! Thanks for your assistance
Did you recently install Windows on this Mac? If you run SMC and NVRAM Reset, does Alt/Option key allow OS selection?

Hi! Does allow for the selection- when I get to the Apple logo it loads about a quarter of the way and then just hangs...
