Face ID Has Stopped Working - iPhoneXS
I woke up this morning and my Face ID stopped working. I have had no prior issues previous to today. So far, these are the troubleshooting steps I’ve taken:
1) Ensured updated to iOS 13.6.1
2) Restarted my iPhone
3) Log into settings/add alternate ID
4) Reset Face ID
Now, whenever I try to add/change my Face ID, I can get to the point where the front facing camera opens and prompts me to “position your face within the frame.” Once I do this, it will tell me “move your phone a little lower.” I will, and then I am promoted “move your phone a little higher.” It does not advance beyond this step.
Like mentioned previously, my Face ID worked fine when I went to bed last night. I would greatly appreciate some help here as I do not have the funds to go out and buy a working phone. Thank you!
