MacBook isn’t booting up correctly

What can I do if I’ve restarted my MacBook, clicked on my name, entered my password, and computer wants to boot up, but won’t all the way? I can enter through Guest User, but not with my ID and password.

my macbook is not accepting my password at startup Hi there my macbook is no longer recognising my password at startup and guest user is saying reset using apple ID which it is not recognising as correct otherwise I would not be here om this site asking the question. HELP ;)
