Can’t click on misspelled words!

I don’t see any evidence that anyone here (besides the Community Specialists) have done as I have recommended: Give Apple your Feedback, by going to Product Feedback - Apple .

We are but users, like yourselves, here!

Thanks for checking that for us. Let's look into this a little further. Are you using the native iPhone keyboard, or a third party keyboard? Are you using any particular apps when you have this trouble, or does it happen whenever you type something?

Having same issues, following for solution.

This issue also happens to me and it is extremely frustrating. Hopefully Apple will see that enough people are having this issue, and will correct this.

Yep! It’s been happening for months now. I’ve tried everything. It’s definitely an issue in OS.

I am having the same issue and it looks like apple has gone quite on this thread.

I have this problem and it is just way beyond stupid. Such a basic function...

This issue occurs on iPads as well.

Something in the recognition of touch gestures changed with iPadOS 14.0.

After that, it is far more difficult to get the OS to allow us to access the Spelling Correction. Usually, we have to Select the word and choose Replace…

Yes. Occasionally, the old behavior will show up, but very seldom.

Since the on-screen keyboard does not provide Arrow keys, “backing up” via such is not an option using such.

Even using the fine control from touch-n-holding the space key can get us to the last character of a word, but I have never seen that bring up a spelling correction list.

It is a frustrating change, but I have simply been working around it.

It sounds like we need to provide Apple with iPadOS and iOS Feedback!
